Caramelised onions
Total time: 50 minutesIngredients
2 tbsp olive oil
3 onions sliced
pinch of salt
2 tbsp brown sugar
1-2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Method
1. Slice the onions into short or long strips (personal preference). Put the oil in a large pan on low heat.
2. Then add the onions along with a pinch of salt and leave cook for 30 mins.
3. Stir occasionally until they are soft and golden.
4. Mix in the brown sugar & balsamic vinegar and leave for another 5 minutes stirring on low heat.
Add to a burger or as a side for some meat ☺️
