Moroccan Falafel (vegan, gluten free)
Ingredients
Makes 12 Falafels:
1 bag of lamb brand lentils (chick peaks around 200g)
3 tsp onion powder/flakes
3 tsp garlic powder
4 tsp parsley
3-4 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp cumin powder
About 3 small mint leaves
Sprinkle salt & pepper
Oil to fry on the pan
Method
1. Leave the lentils soaking over night or for 8 hours.
2. Then cook them in a pot with hot water for around 30 minutes. Blend to make a smooth mixture.
3. Add in all the ingredients and mix all together using a hand blender.
4. Make small balls with your hand and put on the pan & flatten into circles.
5. Leave to cook until golden brown & you’re done 🤩
Enjoy with mango chutney or tzatziki sauce ❤️
