🍞Naan Bread 🍞
Ingredients
15 minutess prep time; 80 minutes rising time & 1 minute cook time each piece.
80g white yogurt
1/2 tsp yeast
200ml warm water
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp oil
Pinch of salt
375g flour
For the top: melted butter; garlic powder; basil or oregano
Method
1.Mix the sugar, yeast & water and leave until foamy in a bowl (about 10mins).
2. Then add in the yoghurt, oil & a pinch of salt and mix. Put aside;
3. Place the flour in a bowl and pour the yeast mix over it. Knead a dough for 2 mins and leave to rise for 20 mins; knead again for 1 minute and leave to rise for an hour.
4. Split into balls, open up each ball.
5. Heat a pan and put a little bit of oil spread on the pan; place one each time (depending on the size) flipping over ever 20 seconds till it turns like the picture. Put the melted butter mix on top & enjoy!
